Decontamination is a process of using iron remover to dissolve imbedded iron fallout and brake dust imbedded in the paint, Tar remover to remove road tar, and clay barring to remove larger imbedded contaminants that the iron remover didn’t take care of. This process leaves your clear coat free of anything getting in the way of applying protectants and paint correcting.
A wax protects your car’s paint, gives a deep, rich, wet gloss, and hides some swirls and scratches for a little while, while a polish has abrasives to actually remove scratches and swirls from the paint.
A sealant is a blend of synthetic polymers that enhances gloss, protects the paint, and has good durability. Sealants can be infused with other types of protection such as Si02 and graphene to add to its properties.
Sealants are usually better than waxes in terms of how long they last and how durable they are. They still look great when applied, but where the wax shines is in the gloss factor, but they don’t last all that long.
Depending on the service requested it can take anywhere between 3 hours to 5 days. All depends on weather conditions, condition of the vehicle, and inspection to make sure everything was preformed correctly.
